Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who had been both a member and the captain for the Fierce Five team in 2012 and 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics she won gold on both the team floor as well as the individual events. The bronze medal was awarded through her balance bar. She was the only American to win many Olympic medals. The year she was in 2016, along with her partner Gabby Doug were the first Americans to take home back-to-back golds in team events. She also won silver medals for the all-around individual event and in floor exercise. Three years have passed when she last participated in competition gymnastics. Also, she was a member of the gold medal winning American teams at the two World Championships. She began her gymnastics training at the age of 2 and enjoys exercises on the floor. Aly participates in her organization, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization to honor and remember her mother. Aly plans on pursuing a career as a designer. Her future goals include expanding her trademark line of leotards. Fierce, a new book she's working on, is due out later in the year.
